Working on the estate
Gut Dalwitz is an organic farm and holiday estate in the Mecklenburg Parkland. As part of a family-run, international team, we are involved in organic farming and forestry, cattle and horse breeding, holiday homes, creative rural gastronomy, renewable energies and a wide range of cultural and landscape conservation projects. We have been breeding South American Criollos (70 horses) for 30 years and run a riding stable (35 horses).
We live and work in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Germany. If you like to spend your free time outdoors, you’ve come to the right place. Horseback riding through the vastness of the Mecklenburg Parkland, athletic balance on the tennis court, relaxation at the lake (10 min.) or on the Baltic Sea beach (35 min).
Administration w/m/d
About you:
– Professional experience and relevant professional training (office administrator) or comparable
– Experience in adminsitrative work desirable (real estate / hotel industry / agriculture & forestry)
– German (fluent written and spoken), English desirable
– Reliability, committed work ethic and willingness to work in seasons
Key Responsibilites:
– Management of rented residential units
– Processing incoming mail from various divisions
– Preparatory work in the field of accounting
– Working at events and the welcome desk
– Handling telephone enquiries
– Assistance with various projects

Intern (m/f/d)
Do you fancy country life and working where others go on holiday? Welcome to Gut Dalwitz!
We are looking for interns for the 2023 season (April – October / by arrangement) in the following areas:
Ferien Gut Dalwitz – Reception:
Are you studying tourism or hotel management or do you simply fancy the country life? After a thorough induction, you will be a competent contact person for our guests. You welcome and say goodbye to guests, answer questions about the vacation property, take care of restaurant reservations and can work on exciting projects.
Agriculture:
You are studying agriculture, are a nature-loving student or have always wanted to work on a large farm. You can expect large machines, organic farming with arable farming, cattle and horse breeding in closed cycle systems and, of course, a great international team that is looking forward to your active support.
Forestry:
Are you fascinated by the forest ecosystem? So are we! During your internship, you will accompany our forester through our hardwood-dominated, near-naturally managed areas in the Mecklenburg Parkland and gain an insight into all areas of forestry operations. Forest management, planning, felling and hunting will be your tasks. You are welcome to apply for a varied internship or practical semester in Dalwitz.
Garden:
Diversity in abundance. Our large historic farm garden with its old greenhouse is a reminder of a time when self-sufficiency was a matter of course. Our passion is to preserve and cultivate old varieties. Become active in our garden and design independently and creatively according to historical models. We look forward to the coming gardening year and to seeing you.
